（中央社記者林宏翰桃園13日電）Lamigo桃猿隊今天在桃園主場提前封王，拿下中華職棒上半季冠軍，隊史第8座季冠軍，全場1萬8407名觀眾拋下上萬條藍色彩帶，煙火綻放夜空。
桃猿隊這場比賽雖然是3比5敗給中信兄弟，但是統一獅以11比2擊敗義大犀牛，使得排名第2的犀牛隊確定淘汰，而桃猿隊以32勝21敗的成績篤定封王。
包含前身La new熊隊，桃猿隊從2003年創隊以來，今天拿下第8座季冠軍，其中在2006年、2012年、2014年三度拿下聯盟總冠軍，總教練洪一中也是聯盟史上最多季冠軍的總教練。
桃猿隊是去年的總冠軍，而去年同樣也是在上半季先封王，巧合的是，桃猿隊去年上半季封王的日期與今天是同一天6月13日。1040613
